Presented by the Richmond Community Orchestra
Welcome to the 2nd Year edition of the Strings Initiative Program! All students must have prior violin experience, meaning they must have either participated in the 2022 edition of the Strings Initiative Program or have similar beginner-level violin experience.
Do you have children in grades 4-8? This is your chance to take advantage of this program so your child can learn to play the violin. Instructions and instruments will be provided to your children. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. The program will follow the school calendar.
IMPORTANT:
By registering you consent to Preble Arts and its staff members to educate your child/ren on music instruction. You give Preble Arts and its staff members to take photos, video, and audio and use that material for public promotion on social media, websites, and other media outlets. By Registering your child, you agree that you would assume financial responsibility if any damage is caused to the instruments while in your/your children's possession. By registering your child/ren, you agree to return the instrument at the end of the program in the same condition it was given to you at the beginning of the Program.
We are happy to introduce our two instructors from Miami University: Amelia Bernard and Carter Fogg.

Carter Fogg is a junior violinist from Cincinnati, Ohio who plans on teaching and performing after graduation. He started violin at age 7 and has been playing for 13 years.
