Preble Arts is looking for artists to create designs for our new t-shirts. If you’ve got an awesome idea for a design, we want to see it!  

Deadline to enter is April 24, 2020 

Your design should be inspired by the Mission or Vision of the Preble County Art Association. MISSION: The PCAA fuels creativity in Preble County, fostering a community rich in arts and culture.VISION: Our vision is a community in which every person can explore creativity through visual, interactive and educational experiences.Need more inspiration? Visit www.preblearts.org to see all that we do!You may use text in your design and no more than 4 colors. You may submit up to 3designs, but they must be submitted as separate entries.  

Winners: 

We will select 2 winners. Winners will receive a t-shirt with their winning design printed on it. We will select one winner from both age groups. 17 and younger and18-older. Winners will be notified by April 27. The public will be notified of winners by May 1.  

Designs will be judged on the following criteria: 

• Concept/originality 

• Captures the Mission or Vision Preble Arts 

• Striking and memorable design 

• Visibility –eye-catching and visible from a reasonable distance 

• Feasibility/must be easy to reproduce 

How to submit entries:  

• Email your designs and release form to director@preblearts.org 

• Designs may be created in any medium but must be scanned or photographed and submitted as a JPG or PNG file.  

• If you are under the age of 18 your design must be submitted on your behalf by a parent or guardian. 

• You must submit your design by midnight EST, April 24, 2020. 

Terms & Conditions: 

By submitting an entry, the artist consents that it is his/her own original work and that he/she has all necessary rights and permissions to use any included elements. Preble Arts reserves the right to make adjustments and alterations to the winning entry. The winning artist grants Preble Arts the exclusive right to the design, including any modifications thereof, to be used on promotional/marketing and other Preble Arts materials. The artist shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless to Preble Arts from and against any and all suits, actions, claims, damages, liabilities, judgments, losses and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of any violation of third party rights (including, without limitation, intellectual property infringement, misappropriation, dilution or violation) in connection with Preble Arts use, distribution, publishing, sale or exploitation of the design. These rights will not expire but will exist for as long as the company continues to use this design. The winner(s) will be rewarded with a Preble Arts shirt featuring his/her design. 

At the sole discretion of Preble Arts, disqualification, forfeiture and the selection of an alternate winner may result from any of the following: 

• Winner’s failure to respond to notification within seven (7) business days after its transmission. 

• The return of an email notification as undeliverable after three (3) attempts. 

• Winner’s failure to execute and return a release form.
